Beekawa Ingredients & a little Beekawa background
BEEKAWA BACKGROUND AND INGREDIENTS
BEEKAWA =
BEE ( for beeswax ) ,
KAWA ( kawakawa )
Thank you for supporting our small NZ business, Beekawa, which was first founded in 2018, after a personal life-altering experience, as a photographer I lost my eyesight, which resulted in me, closing down my successful Photography business, & creating, kawakawa based healing products, for my own young children, at the time, never in a million years, intending it to become a Global business, as it has become over the past 6 years. We are super proud, to follow and respect Mãori protocol, while creating our precious Beekawa rongoã, respecting, and grateful for, the Ngãhere ( bush ) and the ancient knowledge and wisdom that has come before us, on our Beekawa journey.
Unfortunately, due to health & personal reasons, I had to officially close Beekawa NZ down, in 2022, unsure of the future, and hugely upset by this. The past 2 years have been further life-changing, for me, and it has really reinforced, how important and relied upon, Beekawa really has become, in countless households throughout NZ, and actually the world. This has encouraged me, to re-launch Beekawa, albeit, in an even smaller capacity, with not such a broad range of our products, being constantly available. Beekawa is brewed in small 5 litre batches, with each tin and bottle, being hand filled, by me.
Our Beekawa products, are all handpicked, hand created, hand poured, hand stickered, by myself. I follow a traditional method, allowing us to create ORIGINAL and AUTHENTIC, Beekawa rongoã ( natural healing ), in very small batches, by adding my own personal spin on it, which has been refined over the past 6 years, creating the most beautiful, natural, and effective healing and original nourishing products, that I could ever have imagined. I am super proud of Beekawa, and all that we stand for.
Here is a brief run down, of our main ingredients, and some uses and directions, for each Beekawa product that is created.
